Their professional journey spans executive leadership roles across the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors, most notably serving as the current Chief People & Public Affairs Officer at Kalamazoo Community Foundation and previously as Chief of Staff at YWCA Kalamazoo. Throughout their career, Demetrias has leveraged deep operational expertise to guide organizations through complex group processes, project management, and strategic communications while building high-performing leadership teams, developing actionable strategies, and advancing equity.

As a strategic advisor with KEES, Demetrias brings extensive experience in organizational strategy, relationship building, consensus development, and institutional equity to every engagement. Their broad network across philanthropy, public health, organizational management, program development, and central Michigan expands KEES’ reach and strengthens its ability to identify exceptional leadership talent. Demetrias is skilled at aligning organizational priorities with community needs, helping ensure executive searches and leadership development efforts are both culturally responsive and strategically grounded.
