Allison Stark serves as a Strategic Advisor with KEES and partners on projects where she brings subject matter expertise (SME) as well as creative ideas and solutions to the search strategy and networking process. She has experience in both the government and nonprofit sectors, specifically in human services, including mental health, developmental disabilities, child welfare, employment and vocational rehabilitation.

Allison serves as the CEO of Albertina Kerr (Portland, Oregon) which provides mental health services and programs for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Oregon. Previously Allison was the Director of the Division of Developmental Disabilities at the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS). Reporting directly to the IDHS Secretary she was responsible for the oversight and management of a $2.3 billion budget and over 4,000 state employees. Prior to her role in state government, Allison was the President and CEO of Orchard Village, a nonprofit providing services to people with disabilities.

Holding a master’s degree from the University of Chicago, a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder, Allison also has a Nonprofit Management Certificate from Chicago’s North Park University. She currently serves as a member of the Governor-appointed Oregon Commission on Autism Spectrum Disorder and is a board member for the Arc of Oregon and the Oregon Resource Association.
